 Notes

*DOI or Digital Object Identifier is a unique number given to a journal article.  Not all articles have a DOI.  Write the DOI in the standard format https://doi.org/#######

Follow these guidelines to format DOIs and URLs:

  • Present both DOIs and URLs as hyperlinks (i.e., beginning with “http:” or “https:”).
  • The hyperlink leads directly to the content, so it is not necessary to include the words “Retrieved from” or “Accessed from” before a DOI or URL.
  • Leave links live if the work is to be published or read online.
