Referencing and Academic Integrity

Books vs Edited Books Chapters

There two main types of books.  Books that have every chapter written by the same author(s) use the books tab below for rules and examples. The second type of books edited books typically each chapter has been written by different author(s).  Edited books follow different rules as you need to acknowledge both the author of the chapter and the editor of the book it comes from. Use the edited books tab below to see how to reference a chapter in an edited book.
