The lifecycle of Data

The data lifecycle refers to the stages that data goes through from its creation or acquisition to its eventual disposal or archiving. It encompasses the entire process of managing data, including creation, storage, usage, analysis, archiving, and deletion. Different organizations may define specific stages within this lifecycle based on their needs and data types.
